$5,000-To-Win 'Rumble At The Rock' Sponsored By S.P. Wilson One Week Away On Tuesday June 2nd

DUNDEE, N.Y. -- For Immediate Release -- May 26th, 2015

Feel the rumble.  Hear the roar.  The richest paying dirt modified race at Black Rock Speedway in 2015 is coming up on Tuesday June 2nd titled the "Rumble At The Rock" sponsored by S.P. Wilson, Inc.  The event is paying $5,000 to win and $200 just to take the green flag for the 50-lap feature event.

2015 marked the return of weekly modified competition to the 'Fast Four-Tenths-Mile' in Dundee which has produced some exciting racing.  There have been four different winners in as many races going into Friday night's competition.  Danny Johnson, Ron Cartwright Jr, Brady Fultz and twice Steve Paine have all graced Champion Power Equipment Victory Lane so far this season. 

The event will not only boast a purse that includes $5,000 to win and $200 to start- it will also include a lap sponsor program as well as three guaranteed starting positions to upcoming Short Track Super Series North Region events.  The guaranteed starting spots will be awarded to the top three finishers with the winner getting first pick. 

The three guaranteed starting spots available to claim are to:

·      **Lightning on the Mountain- Sunday June 28th, 2015 Thunder Mountain Speedway $5,000+ to win, $400 to start

·      **Crazy 8s Special- Wednesday July 22nd, 2015 I-88 Speedway $8,888+ to win, $388 to start

·      **Hustlin’ the Highbanks 51- Tuesday August 11th, 2015 Woodhull Raceway $5,100+ to win, $400 to start

A $15 entry fee is available to be submitted by June 1st with the entry fee increasing to $25 on race day.  The Black Rock Speedway website at www.blackrockspeedway.com will have the entry form uploaded to the Pit Area page on the site or you can request the entry form by emailing pr@blackrockspeedway.com.

One final Friday night of weekly competition comes up this Friday that will serve as a final tune up for ‘The Rumble’ coming up just 4 days after.  The Big Block/Small Block Modifieds will be joined by the Crate Sportsman, M&M Auto Sales & Service IMCA Modifieds, MRC Street Stocks, NAPA Know How 4 Cylinders and Creekside Entertainment Bandits.  Pits open at 4:30PM, Grandstands at 5PM with race time scheduled for 7PM.
