Practice Schedule & Media/Photographer Requests Being Accepted
DUNDEE, N.Y. - For Immediate Release - April 9th, 2015
Final preparations are underway for the 2015 season on the 4/10-mile Black Rock Speedway in Dundee, NY. Co-Promoters Mike Jackson and Sue Foster have been logging countless hours cleaning up the facility and making improvements in and around the facility. Staff for 2015 and even some race fans have pitched in during the cleanup efforts and it will all culminate this weekend with the first two of three open practice sessions.
Practice Sessions are scheduled as follows:
· Friday April 10th at 6:00PM
· Sunday April 12th at 1:00PM
· Sunday April 19th at 1:00PM
These practice sessions are open to any race vehicle no matter what tire you run. If you race on dirt and want time on the track to shake everything down- Black Rock Speedway will give you time during any of these sessions.
Grandstand admission for practice is FREE while pit admission for practice will be $20. The concession stands will be open on both sides of the speedway with a limited menu and drinks.

Race fans and teams are encouraged to sign up for Text Alerts via Black Rock Speedway’s RainedOut.com account. The link to sign up online can be found on the Black Rock Speedway Facebook page or simply text ‘therock’ all one word to the number 84483. Message and Data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
W-9/Membership Paperwork
Drivers are reminded to fill out their W-9 forms and membership forms as they will be able to turn those in during the practice sessions which will save them time on Opening Night. Any questions on W-9’s and Membership Forms can be directed to Black Rock Speedway Business Manager Sue Foster.
Media Requests/Photographer Requests
Media Credential requests and Photographer requests are also being accepted at this time. Credentials from previous years do not carry over to 2015; ALL credential requests for Media/Photos must be made in writing to pr@blackrockspeedway.com. Written requests must include name, publication you submit written or photo media to, as well as the contact info for the editor you report to. Credential requests must be made in writing in advance of race night, and will not be accepted on race night per Black Rock Speedway policy.
