Black Rock Rained Out Yet Again

DUNDEE, NY - A persistent system that moved into the Finger Lakes Region on Friday afternoon has yet again cancelled a star-studded night of racing at the fastest fun in Yates County.

The May 16 program, including the Firefighter Enduro and Spectator Races, has been cancelled due to wet grounds and a wetter forecast.

While the Sportsman, Late Models, Street Stocks, 4-Cylinders and Bandits will not be made up, the Firefighter Enduro and Spectator Races will need to be made up May 30. That night will also include the modifieds and a Ladies Enduro.

In between the weeks will be next week’s program, featuring all six regular classes, presented by Suzuki Motorcycles & Smith’s Auto Body. Next week will also be the Old Timers Race. Old Timers interested in competing are encouraged to visit www.BlackRockSpeedway.com to sign up.
