Curtis Berleue Photography Returning In 2015 At Black Rock Speedway
DUNDEE, NY - February 5th, 2015 - For Immediate Release -
On a night when they announced their 2015 announcing duo and a division sponsor for the IMCA Modifieds, Mike Jackson and Sue Foster let one more cat out of the bag for the 2015 season at Black Rock Speedway.
The pair announced that Curtis Berleue Photography would be returning as the Official Track Photographer for the 2015 season. Berleue served in this role in 2014 when the track operated under the name Yates County Speedway, so there will be little to no transition for Berleue.
“I am really excited to be back as the track photographer once again in Dundee this season,” said Berleue when contacted on Thursday evening.
“Last year was a great learning experience. Becoming a track photographer was a goal of mine for quite some time, and to be able to do it at the track I grew up at and have so many memories of as a kid was really special. I can’t wait to pick up where we left off last season.”
Curtis Berleue Photography
Founded in 2008 when Berleue first began shooting at racing events at the Chemung Speedrome, Woodhull Raceway and Black Rock Speedway. Berleue had his work first published in 2009 which led to opportunities to work for DirtTrackDigest.com as a contributing photographer.
Curtis Berleue Photography now contributes to Allstar Performance Parts, DirtOnDirt.com, I.M.C.A. Racing Newsletter, Area Auto Racing News, as well as RaceProWeekly.com. They can be found online atwww.curtisberleuephotography.com
As far as his plans for 2015?
“We are looking into having some more items for display and purchase including canvas prints, mugs and other merchandise. I spoke with Mike and Sue recently about internet connectivity in the Photo Booth which will allow us to better display photos and accept credit cards for payment on the go.”
Berleue’s work will begin Friday night April 24th as the Small-Block/Big-Block Modifieds, 602 Crate Sportsman, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, 4-Cylinders and the Black Rock Bandits hit the track for Opening Night 2015.
Black Rock Speedway is located at 82 Main Street in Dundee, NY and holds dirt track racing weekly on Friday nights from Late April through Labor Day Weekend in September. The speedway also hosts special events on the grounds with special races run during the fall months of September and October.
