Mother Nature Halts Racing Early At Outlaw
Race Report by Steven Ovens – August 7th, 2021 –
(DUNDEE, NY) – A great night of racing that started off with a visit by NASCAR stars Aric Almirola and Justin Haley would end rather prematurely as rain moved in around 10:15PM in Dundee.
Rain shortened the night as the second feature race was on track- 10 laps into the A-Verdi Storage Containers Patriot Sprint Tour 25-lap A-Main presented by Lanes Yamaha. The only Outlaw Speedway division that completed their night was the Stan’s No Tubed Street Stocks.
Glenn Whritenour dominated the 20-lap Feature to pick up yet another win in 2021 as he is cruising toward another track title at Outlaw. Jared Hill had a bounce back run after struggling last weekend to log a solid second place finish. Jeremy Potrzebowski had an incredible battle with Gene Sharpsteen to hold on to third place with Zach Teed completing the Top 5.

The Patriot Sprint Tour will complete their 15 laps remaining of their A-Main during the Outlaw Speedway Fall Nationals coming up in late September.
Next on the schedule for Outlaw Speedway is Gene Dupuy Memorial Night on Friday August 13th. A special tribute night in memory of a former racer and track employee will join a Super 7 Show at the “Fast Four-Tenths Mile.”
