OUTLAW SPEEDWAY PRESENTS THE STEVE KENT MEMORIAL SUMMER NATIONALS ON FRIDAY, JULY 30, 2021

ULMS Super Late Models to make only appearance of the season at the Yates County Oval.

Kenny Shupp Jr.

(Dundee, NY) Outlaw Speedway owner/promoter, Tyler Siri is pleased to announce the Annual Summer Nationals are scheduled for Friday, July 30, 2021 at the track.

“This one of our signature events that we annually promote here at Outlaw, stated Siri.  After opening the season with a couple of big events including the Spring Nationals in April, the Fall Nationals come in September and Dutch Hoag Weekend in October, so this is our premier event held in the summer. Since I purchased the facility, we have hosted the Summer Nationals every year and in 2021 we have a block buster line-up including the ULMS Super Late Models.”

The Chris Zuver promoted United Late Model Series (ULMS) is now in its twentieth year and continues to grow in car counts and the number of tracks visited.  Many of the top Northeast’s Late Model pilots follow the series and are most are planning on attending the event at Outlaw Speedway.

With its 4/10 of a mile configuration of long straight a ways and wide, sweeping corners, Outlaw Speedway is a perfect fit for the highly powered Super Late Models where drivers can just stand on the gas of their 800 plus horse powered behemoth machines.

Outlaw has hosted a pair of World of Outlaw Late Model events within the past few years and the class was very well received at the facility with huge crowds albeit the fact Outlaw Speedway lies primarily in Modified Country.

“I think that having the ULMS here it gives fans an opportunity to see how well they can perform on a wide, fast, racy track.  We generally promote Modifieds, Sportsman and 360 Sprints as our headline divisions each week along with a group of outstanding support divisions, but when I get an opportunity to put a top notchhigh profile touring group like ULMS on the schedule, I am going to book it.  The fans are in for a real treat on July 30.”  That once again according to Siri.

The winner of the ULMS feature will pocket a cool $3,066.00

Also, on the Friday night card of events it will be a complete show of the Friendly Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Modifieds will race for $3,066 to win.  The Sunrise Insulation American Racer Tire and Speed Connection DIRTcar Hoosier Tire Divisions will each race for $2,066 to win their respective feature events. The Stan’s No Tubes Street Stocks winner will pocket a check for $1,566 and both the Winner’s Circle Deli Mini Stocks along with the NAPA Hobby Stocks will race for a winner’s share of $1,066 each.

The July 30 event will be a full point show featuring a draw/re-draw format.

Steve Kent of Elmira, NY was a standout driver throughout his career primarily running in full fender classes like the Super Stocks and 360 Late Models.  Later in life he could be found working the pit area lending a hand on several different competitor’s machines and he had his favorite seat always reserved towards the top of the main grandstand seating area.  Steve Kent hardly missed an event, and his presence is sorely missed at Outlaw Speedway. He truly was a friend to all!  Thus, his name is etched into the Steve Kent Summer Nationals at the Outlaw Speedway for 2021.

Pit gates for the July 30 show open at 5:00 pm with the Main Grandstand’s to follow at 5:30 pm.  The first green flag of the night waves promptly at 7:30 pm.
