ARTHUR AND CYNTHIA MACMILLAN MEMORIAL OPENS MONTH OF JUNE AT OUTLAW SPEEDWAY

Story by Kenny Shupp Jr.

(Dundee, NY) The Outlaw Speedway will open the month of June with the running of the Arthur and Cynthia McMillan Memorial event.  The tribute night is in memory of the MacMillan’s who are the parents of loyal Outlaw Speedway employee and Siri Motorsports crew member, Bugger McMillan.

“Bugger as he is known to everyone Is just a great guy.  He has been helping me on my race team for years and he works around the track in a lot of different capacities.  He knows a lot about Modifieds and how to set them up.  I have three cars that race weekly at this track and he helps on all three doing whatever it takes.  His mom and dad were wonderful people and it’s in their memory that I am holding this special event.”  That according to Outlaw Speedway owner/promoter, Tyler Siri.

On the card for the June 4, 2021 event, it will be a Regular Super 7 Show featuring the Friendly Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Modifieds and the Lane’s Yamaha 360 Sprints.  Also seeing race action will be the Sunrise Insulation American Racer Tire Sportsman, the Speed Connection DIRTcar Hoosier Tire Sportsman, the Stan’s No Tubes Street Stocks, the NAPA Hobby Stocks as well as the Winner’s Circle Deli Mini Stocks featuring a mix of both front and rear wheel drive 4 cylinders.

Recently both Steve Paine in the Short Track Super Series 50 lap event on May 18 and Kyle Coffey during a regular 30 lap show on May 21 picked up their first feature wins of the 2021 season.  Former Outlaw Street Stock Track Champion, Dylan Cecce has shown up twice and dominated the action at both.  Looks like 2019 all over again where Glen Whritenour and Cecce won virtually every feature.  Like Cecce, Kenneth Evans has back-to-back wins in the Mini Stock Division and whether it be on Hoosier Tires or American Racers, Alex Payne continues to show his mastery in Sportsman action. Jordan Thomas and Jared Zimbardi have both picked up 360 Sprint feature wins in the month of May, in fact at Outlaw thus far in 2021 the 360’s have run four events with four different faces finding victory lane. Willie Easling, a Rookie contender in the Hobby Stock class has one win as does veteran Marc Minutolo and Joshua Oles, but it has been Justin Eldredge that has dominated the action thus far with three feature wins.

Gate times for both pit and grandstand seating entry along with ticket prices will be posted at www.facebook.com/OutlawSpeedwayLLC/.
