Black Rock Practice Cancelled for Thursday, Friday Still On
Due to an inclement forecast for most of Thursday, Officials have decided to cancel the practice session, originally scheduled from 6:00-9:00 p.m. It will not be made up.
All systems are on go for Friday, however, as racing will continue as regularly scheduled with the T-3 All-Star 358-Modifieds and Mr. DIRTcar Street Stock season openers joining the Hoselton Crate Sportsman, Freedom Village USA Super Stocks, Signs Plus of Kanona 4-Cylinders and Black Rock Bandits. Racing for Friday will begin at 6:45 p.m.
Technical and safety inspection will also continue on Friday, taking place from 2:00- 6:00 p.m.
“Practice was not the most important thing, racing Friday is,” said BRS General Manger Alex Hoag. “We don’t want our race teams sitting out a rain out on their first night out. As long as it does not rain/snow on Friday, we will race.”
